Be the better person..

Picture

One of my main topics is speaking about Moments, moments will come into your life fast and furiously. Moments show up in the form of your child looking for attention. If can come in the form of a spouse needing some up lifting. It can come in the form of a crucial conversation in business or work or at home. However the moment comes and its not up to us to decide what kind of moment we can call upon. It is up to us to maximize that moment when it comes.
I was confronted by a client recently about the service that we provided and it wasn’t good. But it was a learning point. The learning point was for me and my team and its up to us to take it and grow. I wanted to give you three reminders of why the high ground is so important when engaging with others in relationship.
Take the High Road
  1. Your reputation is at stake
  2. You keep the bridge of relationship in tact
  3. It gives you room to think and be proactive
What do you want to be remembered for and known for when you come to the end of your life? This is a question you can face on a periodic basis because , life has a way of holding a mirror up to you and it gives you two choices , to be the person you know to be , or to the one you don’t want to be.s
Every relationship needs a bridge for both parties to cross, and if you really care about people, leave that bridge in tact. At times you or the other person will walk away or make the effort to meet you on the other-side. After all its relationships that stand forever.
Reactive or proactive, which are you? When its your relationships which do you lean to and are you aware of the consequences of both. It can come with time and experience, but I’d rather you have those experiences and grow from them than to not and have no hope for a better future for yourself and others.
Hope this helps you today Maximizer, now go a be the person that takes the high road.
